Ashton Kutcher appeared on the Conan show last night and explained why he and partner Mila chose to name their baby daughter Wyatt Isabelle.
The actor said that he and Mila, who are reportedly engaged, had picked another name originally but it didn’t “fit”.
“We had another name picked out. We got pregnant a couple of weeks after we picked the name but when we were pregnant, the name didn’t fit the energy we were feeling. One night, Mila was like, “This is not the name.” I was like, “okay it’s not the name” said Ashton.
Thirty six-year-old Ashton said that he did his best to think of new name options, telling show host Conan O’Brien how he went about it.
“I just started listing off anything and everything I saw. I was like, ‘Sign! Truck! Wall! Door!’ She’s like, ‘Shut up!’ I’m like, ‘If you don’t accept my bad ideas, you’ll never accept the good ones”.

“Then I was like, ‘All right, I’ve got a really dumb idea. What about Wyatt?’ She goes, ‘That’s it.’…We gave her the middle name Isabelle after Mila’s grandfather who was Yitzhak so it has a little heritage” continued Ashton.
The new father also said that he is loving parenthood, adding that “it’s unbelivable”.
“We’re really privileged that we have time and can afford to take time. So we don’t have a nanny or a night nurse of any of the stuff. It’s just the two of us” said Ashton.
This is too cute but we really want to know what the original name was!
