OK, interesting…
Since Westlife announced they were reuniting, there has always been one question on everyone’s lips; “What about Brian?”
Sure, it’s been talked about and Westlife has mentioned him a few times, but Brian has never really said much about it (his BFF Keith Duffy has, though).
Well, Brian was on Loose Women this week and he was actually sorta sound when talking about the lads.
In the interview he said:
“Well, it was never even talked about. You have to remember – I left Westlife in 2004. That’s a long time ago. The boys carried on for, I think, ten or eleven years after that. It is two different bands really.
“It would have been kinda weird, because when I left them boys worked so hard to keep the brand going for so long. This is like their swansong, their big comeback. For me to just turn up and go, “Can I have a bitta that, please?” That’s not really fair.”
See? Sound. He then dropped the bomb that he’s actually heading on tour with Boyzone.
“I’m going on tour as myself, but I’m supporting Boyzone as a special guest,” he said.
He has an upcoming album coming out called Otis… so there’s that.
