Danniella Westbrook will reportedly not be returning to our screens on Hollyoaks.
According to reports, she was due to reprise her role as Trudy Ryan in the popular show.
However, it has been reported that she broke her contract and that bosses on the soap had ‘no choice’ but to cut her from upcoming storylines.
“Danniella breached her contract and it was terminated last week,” a spokesperson for the programme told MailOnline.
“She will not be filming Hollyoaks.”
However, it has in turn been claimed that Danniella made the decision not to return to the show as she did not want to live in Liverpool where her ex Tom Richards is said to be based.
“Danniella left Hollyoaks due to the fact her ex was going to be staying in Liverpool at the same time, as he has a training camp there.
“She feared for her safety,” a spokesperson for the actress claimed.
Danniella, who is now said to be dating male model Jude Moore, is well known for her role as Samantha Mitchell in EastEnders.
