As I type this, I realise I didn't have much of a lunch and now, I'm properly craving a bacon sandwich. Not only is it a very tasty snack but it's also a good shout for getting rid of the various ailments that come after a night of drinking. Now, it might not cure you entirely but you'll usually feel a lot better after one and it's David Beckham's go-to hangover healer...enough said. In a recent interview with GQ, the father of four disclosed that taking an Alka-Seltzer tablet dissolved in water before bed and a rasher sandwich the next day, is how he deals with a sore head. Chatting to the publication, the 41-year-old revealed that it was his grandfather who recommended this particular method for tackling a hangover. The bacon is no surprise as everyone loves some grease the morning after the night before, but it is super cute that it was his grandad who gave him such sound advice to begin with. Alka Seltzer is a painkiller used to treat upset stomachs together with headaches so using it to combat the effects of a hangover makes sense. However, taking it after you've been out instead of the next morning, isn't usually the done thing. Whatever you say David.
