“Dry And Settled” – Finally There Is Some Good Weather News

YAAAAY.

Cathy Donohue

For the last couple of months, the weather in Ireland has been mainly dull and dreary.

We’ve had rain, wind, floods and snow… and a couple of storms too.

However, finally things are starting to look up as the prediction for the next couple of weeks is ‘dry and settled’.

Now we know it’s not exactly the Costa del Sol but it’s a definite improvement.

Here’s what the national forecaster Met Éireann has to say:

“The weather will become dry and settled for the coming week as high pressure becomes established over the country.

“Temperatures will be slightly above normal for the time of year, generally ranging between 10 and 14 degrees, coolest near the east and south coasts and mildest in the midlands.

Winds will be light and will range from easterly to southerly in direction. There’ll be a risk of coastal fog on east and south coasts at times.”
