“We’re all fabulously flawed” – Vicky Pattison talks body image ahead of new fashion campaign

“We weren’t meant to be perfect ladies – we were meant to be real.”

Vicky Pattison has been unveiled in a new fashion campaign that’s all about body confidence.

The reality TV star teamed up with lingerie brand Pour Moi to model a variety of different underwear sets, as well as nightwear and activewear.

Showcasing the Pour Moi x Vicky Pattison Edit, she said:

“Body confidence to me is learning to love the skin you’re in – embracing every inch of your body, shunning society’s ideals of what is considered ‘attractive’ and celebrating your uniqueness.

“We’re all fabulously flawed and that’s what makes us human and beautiful. Big butt, little butt, huge boobs, itty bitty ones, cellulite, rolls, flat stomach, tall or small – we are all perfect in our own way – and once you realise that and learn to appreciate your body as so much more than a number on a scale – that is body confidence.”

The 33-year old has spoken openly about her struggles with body image and mental health in the past and often shares her experiences with her 4.8 million Instagram followers.

Vicky announced her new campaign with Pour Moi in an Instagram post on Thursday, where she alluded to her struggle with body positivity in the past.

“After years of hating my body, punishing myself for not being a certain size or shape I am completely done with trying to be something I’m not- I want to celebrate my curves, my soft tummy, my squishy bits and encourage other women to do the same. Because we weren’t meant to be perfect ladies – we were meant to be real!”

Vicky also advocates for the importance of self-care and is preparing to release her new self-help book, titled The Secret to Happy, in January 2022.
