First trailer for Adele’s CBS special shows her promising Oprah “filthy jokes”

The first trailer for Adele's CBS One Night Only special is here and it looks amazing. In the new clip, the singer can be seen promising Oprah Winfrey there’ll be a "load of filthy jokes" in her special filmed performance. Adele performed an intimate concert at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, California, and sat down with Oprah for an in-depth interview. "It will look really elegant, and then I’ll tell a load of filthy jokes and stand-up," she says to Oprah in the clip. "So it’ll be a real whiplash." The 33-year-old donned a classy white suit with sequinned details as she chatted  to the TV host in her beautiful rose garden. https://twitter.com/CBS/status/1458264846512771072 The announcement alongside the trailer says the show will consist of "Adele’s first televised wide-ranging conversation about her new album, the stories behind the songs, life after divorce, weight loss, and raising her son." "It’s going to be a very special night. Join me when I interview the one and only Adele," Oprah tells the camera. "I invite you to join me for one night only," Adele adds. The special comes as Adele is set to release her fourth album on 19 November - her first album in six years. Speaking about the record earlier this year, she said: "I’ve learned a lot of blistering home truths about myself along the way. I’ve shed many layers but also wrapped myself in new ones. Discovered genuinely useful and wholesome mentalities to lead with, and I feel like I’ve finally found my feeling again. I’d go so far as to say that I’ve never felt more peaceful in my life.’ The two-hour special will air on CBS on 14 November. A different filmed concert with the star is also set to be released on ITV later this month.
