This sounds like it will be SO good.

Jennifer Lawrence is set to star in a new sci-fi comedy for Netflix.

Fom Anchorman writer and producer Adam McKay, Don’t Look Up will tell the story of two low-level astronomers who go on a massive media tour to try and warn the rest of mankind about an approaching asteroid.

According to Deadline, production will begin in April. Don’t Look Up is expected to be released later this year. McKay wrote the comedy and he will produce it under Hyperobject Industries with Kevin Messick.

“I’m so thrilled to make this movie with Jen Lawrence. She’s what folks in the 17th century used to call ‘a dynamite talent’,” the Oscar-winning filmmaker said. “And the fact that Netflix sees this movie as a worldwide comedy sets the bar high for me and my team in an exciting and motivating way.”

“Adam has always had great timing when it comes to making smart, relevant and irreverent films that depict our culture. Even if he somehow ends up predicting planet Earth’s imminent demise, we’re excited to add this to our slate before it all comes to an end,” Scott Stuber, head of Netflix films, added.

And while there’s still a little while to go until Don’t Look Up  hits Netflix, you can find the full list of March additions right here.

The new additions include Tiger King, the docuseries from the producer for FYRE that has been called “the wildest story you’ll never believe.”
