Huge congrats! Jessica Simpson announces she is pregnant with her third child

Jessica Simpson has announced that she is pregnant with her third child - a baby girl.

The singer and her husband, Eric Johnson, are already parents to 5-year-old Ace Knute and Maxwell Drew, 6. The proud mum took to Instagram early on Tuesday afternoon to share her "surprise" news with fans - and enlisted some help. In the caption, she said:

"This little baby girl will make us a family of five. We couldn't be happier to announce this precious blessing of life."

"Right now my kids are in this amazing stage where I’m really listening to them without judgment and they’re teaching me so much.

"These little innocent kids teach me so much about life."

Eric and Jessica first started dating in May 2010, before announcing their engagement later that year. They wed in July 2014.
