Lady Gaga Shares Her Secret to Self Acceptance

Lady Gaga appeared at Yale University at the emotion Revolution Summit, organized by the Born This Way Foundation in collaboration with the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence. The event aims to "ignite important conversations about making schools a place where all students can thrive." Gaga founded the Born This Way Foundation after writing her album of the same name. The Born This Way Foundation is committed to supporting the wellness of young people and empowering them to create a kinder and braver world. Gaga spoke about the unhappiness she faced in previous years and realised it was in part due to the superficial music industry. She felt she had more to offer than her image and found that when she began refusing to partake in the shallow activies of self promotion and found herself feeling much happier.
