The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made their first joint trip to Sussex today.

On a day tour which will see them move from West Sussex to East Sussex, the royal duo received a huge reception when they arrived in Chichester earlier this morning. Crowds took to the streets of the town centre to welcome the pair.

Both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex spent time talking to fans and people who spent hours waiting to catch a glimpse of them passing through the town.

Harry and Meghan even spent time amusing children to the delight of their parents as the walked down the road, but the cutest moment of all has to be when both Harry and Meghan took time to pet dogs through the barriers. The pair who’ve just got a new dog themselves are known to be massive animal lovers and it’s totally clear to see that from these pictures.

Just look at how thrilled both Harry and the dog look from this encounter.

Too cute!

Meghan also spent time chatting to the owner of a dog which she spotted through the crowd.

Meghan as always looked effortlessly chic in a Hugo Boss two-piece and coat from Armani. The Duchess then paired the look with some nude heels and a slick ballet bun.

Meghan and Harry are set to travel along the coast to Brighton later on this evening before heading to Hove and ending their trip at the JOFF Youth Centre.
