Well, this is a bit of celeb news we never thought we’d hear.
The Rock is a pretty popular and well-known person. He took in millions last year with all his movies, and his social media feeds are totally something to swoon over.
Then there’s Charlie from Busted. He split up the group somewhere in the mid-noughties to form his own band and break teenage hearts everywhere. You never really heard from him again then.
So, it’s strange to see that The Rock and Charlie had a bit of beef on Twitter recently.
It all started over the weekend when Dwayne shared a promo clip to the second Jumanji movie:
DECEMBER 13th, 2019.
The game is not over…
And I get to slap @KevinHart4real’s lips into next week. The world is once again VERY happy. #JUMANJI pic.twitter.com/2JIY7aypgp— Dwayne Johnson (@TheRock) June 29, 2018
All well and good.
But then, Charlie commented under it: “Oh dear… I wonder if it will be the second worst film ever made??” and tagged his former bandmate Matt Willis.
Then The Rock possibly had the best reply, saying: “Haha I have a fun idea – how bout you watch it with us and tell us your thoughts. Then we listen to your music and we’ll tell you ours. You know, face to face like real men do instead of yapping on Twitter.”

Charlie quickly took most of it back, writing: “Haha sorry to disappoint but I don’t do Twitter ‘beef’, it’s lame. I actually think @TheRock seems like a really rad dude. Just wasn’t a fan of the movie. Subjective opinions and all that. Respect none the less.”
The Rock left it there, but not before Matt got wind of it and simply tweeted: “@TheRock is my favourite actor/person/idol EVER!!!”
