With the Marriage Referendum quickly approaching, and today marking the register cut-off point, two Irish people are trying to encourage people at home to go out and vote for the lost voices abroad.
Clare native Síomha Brock and Dubliner Stephen Markham, who live in Vancouver and the capital respectively, decided to create awareness for those voices that won’t be heard abroad to encourage those back home to be their yes vote.
Roping in help from some of our best known faces, Laura Whitmore, James Vincent McMorrow, The Saw Doctors and rugby stars Peter Stringer, Jamie Hagan, Tomas O’Leary and Eamon Sheridan all got involved to make sure you make your vote count.
If you have a friend who still doesn’t see the need to make it to a ballot box on May 22nd, be sure to send this their way.
