The battle for the title of Wimbledon champion has begun already and this one doesn’t involve tennis rackets…
Tennis stars Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams have begun the bitchiness as Serena slated the Russian blonde in a Rolling Stone interview, omitting her name from the rant but it was obvious to all who she was speaking about.
“She begins every interview with “I’m so happy, I’m so lucky”, it’s so boring,” Williams said.
“She’s still not going to be invited to the cool parties. And, hey, if she wants to be with the guy with a black heart, go for it.”
The “guy with the black heart” is a reference to Sharapova’s current boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov, a reported ex of Williams.

The pair will come up against each other at Wimbledon.
Maria Sharapova has hit back at the comments and said, “I just think she should be talking about her accomplishments, her achievements, rather than everything else that’s just getting attention and controversy,” Sharapova said.
“If she wants to talk about something personal, maybe she should talk about her relationship and her boyfriend that was married and is getting a divorce and has kids.”
Ouch.
The girls’ rivalry comes directly from the courts where Sharapova is one of the few women expected to pose a challenge to the strong American. Williams is still tipped to win, however, and has beaten her Russian opponent for the last 13 matches in a row.
If this talk is brought into their game, it’d be a definite one to watch.
