Louise recently opened up about her divorce for the first time, which can’t have been easy for her.
“Yeah, it’s been really tough. But I mean, you know, he’s my best friend,” she said to Jamie Theakston and Lucy Horobin on Heart Radio last week.
“It’s been really tough but things happen and yeah, I saw him yesterday and it was all good. We had school meetings and stuff, like you do, so all good.”
So, they’re on great terms, thankfully.
And today, we re discovered an article, where Louise opened up about the reason behind the split.
Ultimately, Louise said she wanted to be her own person, and get some of her life back.
“I didn’t want to continue running around after everyone else, and occasionally promoting a yogurt or doing a little TV presenting job,” she told Stella magazine.
“I wanted to sing, I wanted to perform. I wanted to go back to work on a stage in front of an audience.”
She also opened up about how hard it was, particularly for her kids.
“Of course we all go through hard times and my priority and his priority is our children and protecting them and keeping as much private as possible and loving them and putting them first.”
“That’s really what we’re focusing on.”
