Let’s be honest, not many celebrities live in Ireland.

And those that do, might only stay for a few months or during the summer.

But now it seems like we may have a new resident coming to Ireland – and it’s big Hollywood star Will Ferrell.

It has been reported by the Meath Chronicle that the actor will be moving to the former holiday home built for Lord Farnham of Cavan.

The house has been under an Irish film industry executive, but has been on the market for €700,000, according to Savills.

The house is described on the Savills website as: “Situated in the heart of the property is an impressive house accessed through a sweeping driveway which is lined with rhododendron and mature trees. It terminates at a parking area to the side of the house.

“The house occupies an extremely private, southerly facing aspect which is well positioned for the excellent views over Lough Sheelin. External features include dormer windows, exposed brickwork and bay windows.

“The rooms on the second floor are flexible and can be used as additional bedroom accommodation, games rooms or as office/ workspace.”
