550 Brussels Sprouts Went Into The Making Of The New Sky Movies Christmas Ad

Everyone knows that good movies make Christmas, so it’s no surprise people were very excited to clap eyes on the new Sky Movies Christmas lineup.

Well, we have been given a sneak peak of the advert before it hits the tellyboxes alongside the X Factor this weekend, and it is every bit as magical as we expected.

“Step into the adventure this Christmas” is the theme behind the network’s Christmas advert which features the movies Cinderella, Big Hero 6, Night at The Museum and Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. 

The visually stunning piece features a little girl’s Christmas movie dilemma (she has to finish her sprouts before she can sink into the couch) and sees her take a magic adventure – from dashing through Cinderella’s lavish ball, teasing a triceratops in a museum and popping-up centre-stage in the middle of an Ultron battle.

It took a team of 532 artists, animators, crew, editors and extras, plus over 550 brussel’s sprouts to bring the advert to life.
