Ant McPartlin 'consulted' for this year's I'm A Celeb link scripts
Ant McPartlin is apparently being "consulted" for this year's I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here link scrips and jokes.
The presenter has been taking a break from television following a drink driving arrest earlier this year, leaving his jungle duties in the capable hands of Holly Willoughby.
However, it turns out that Ant might be more involved with this series than audiences were previously aware.
Earlier this week, ITV presenter Emma Jesson took to Twitter to say that she had heard that Ant was being "consulted" about the show's script.
In a now deleted tweet, she said:
“I am informed that Ant was consulted for scripted Holly & Dec links for @imacelebrity series 2018.
“Top move production team if this is the case, can see his hallmarks there.”
The Irish Mirror reports that ITV have denied these claims, citing them as "untrue."
Ant has been keeping a low profile since his drink driving arrest and subsequent fine.
He announced that he was taking a break from work earlier on this year, eventually confirming that he wouldn't be taking part in 2018's I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here for the first time since the show started.
Holly was confirmed to stand in for Ant a few months back, stating that she was not filling his shoes but just keeping them warm for a while.
