Baby Yoda toys are finally going to hit the shelf

Baby Yoda toys were previously unavailable because The Mandalorian creators wanted to maintain the show's secrecy.

Not so long ago, a Star Wars character by the name of Baby Yoda took the internet by storm.

He featured on the Disney + series The Mandalorian, which the majority of people in Ireland have been unable to see as the streaming service hasn't launched here yet.

But because of the nature of the internet, and because of how cute Baby Yoda is, the character completely took off.

Fans wanted to get their very own Baby Yoda toys, but they were not available.

Dave Filoni, an executive producer on The Mandalorian, said that the creators of the show wanted to maintain the show's secrecy, which meant there were no Baby Yodas on the shelves for Christmas.

But at long last, they have arrived.

Disney has partnered with toy makers Hasbro, Funko and Mattel to make a number of different products that will be available in shops soon, with some pre-sale orders expected to arrive in homes next month.
