Cancel all your plans because Bridesmaids is on TV tonight

Cancel all your plans because Bridesmaids is on TV tonight.

It’s very, very cold out there today. So the idea of staying in and watching a movie is seriously tempting – and thankfully, there’s a load of good ones on tonight.

Including Bridesmaids, which kicks off at 9pm on ITV2.

The 2011 comedy stars Kristen Wiig, Rose Byrne and Melissa McCarthy – and has become one of our go-to films to watch for…well, just about any occasion, really.

“A disorganised woman is asked to be maid of honour at her best friend’s wedding. Taking charge of the prenuptial bridal celebrations, she resolves to give her pal and accompanying bridesmaids the time of their lives, but as her efforts slide into chaos she finds the wife of the groom’s boss is keen to usurp her position,” the description for the movie reads.

You can check out the trailer for the movie (just in case you haven’t seen it yet – or want to see it again) below.

If that’s not to your liking, here’s some of what else is on telly tonight.

A Star Is Born at 8pm on Sky Cinema True Stories

A musician helps a young singer find fame as age and alcoholism send his own career into a downward spiral.

30 Days Of Night on SyFy at 10pm

After an Alaskan town is plunged into darkness for a month, it is attacked by a bloodthirsty gang of vampires.

The Intern on Comedy Central at 9pm

Seventy-year-old widower Ben Whittaker has discovered that retirement isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Seizing an opportunity to get back in the game, he becomes a senior intern at an online fashion site, founded and run by Jules Ostin.
