Coronation Street’s Daniel Brocklebank has split from his boyfriend of two years.
The actor and former Mr Gay UK Stuart Hatton split up just before Christmas, seemingly after realising that they simply “don’t have time” for their relationship.
Upsetting.
The Sun reports that Brocklebank, who plays Billy Mayhew in the ITV soap, still cares very much about his ex, but that the two are just too busy to continue seeing each other.
“Dan is really busy with Corrie and Stuart has his business interests in the north east,” a source told the publication.
“They just don’t have the time and they sat down and had the talk to end things. There’s no-one else involved, things just didn’t work out and they decided to move on.
“They still care about each other and wish each other the best.”
Lovely.
Brocklebank and Hutton met each other at Stolkholm Pride in 2017.
The actor had previously been dating fellow Coronation Street star Rob Mallard, but they were only linked for a few months.
Rob also split from his boyfriend, Ben Perryman, over Christmas.
