Magician David Blaine has just announced his first ever Irish show

Jade Hayden

Real or magic?

Doesn’t really matter does it because David Blaine is coming to Dublin to play his first ever Irish show and whether it’s real, fake, or something vague and entirely likely in between, it’ll probably be a decent gig.

If you’re into that sort of thing.

Blaine is bringing his Real Or Magic tour to Dublin’s 3Arena this summer where he will no doubt enthral and entertain audiences for an hour and a half with a load of card tricks, slight-of-hand, and other things that magicians do.

He’ll be performing in the capital on June 8, but if you happen to be out of the country or just fancy a change of scenery, you could also catch the show in Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham, Bournemouth or London.

Blaine made headlines back in 2003 when he suspended himself above the River Thames in a small glass box for 44 days without eating.

He was also buried alive a few years before that, and drowned alive at some point in his career too.

Anything for the gram, wha?

Tickets for Blaine’s Real Or Magic tour go on sale next Friday, March 29 at 9am from Ticketmaster and other outlets.
