In case you haven’t heard, the Late Late Toy Show is finally here.
This year, the Christmas bonanza is taking on The Greatest Showman, the Hugh Jackman-starring musical that became a smash hit at movie box offices across the globe earlier this year.
Ryan Tubridy began the show dressed as a circus ringmaster, belting out a rendition of The Greatest Show. And while there were some hiccups, it seems like it went down a storm with fans of the Late Late Toy Show.
Tubs did well. Not an easy task. What a fantastic opening. Well done. Let the Twitter fest commence! #LateLateToyShow

The Late Late Toy Show 2018 will have more than 200 young performers, as well as over 30 talented toy testers, taking part.
The children come from all over Ireland with the youngest just three and a half-years-old.
Bridgette Horan, the head of RTÉ’s Costume Department, previously told how they decided to go all out when they heard about The Greatest Showman theme.
Especially with Ryan’s costume.
She added:
“It has been a real pleasure to work on this year’s Late Late Toy Show. As soon as we heard about The Greatest Showman theme, we knew we had to pull out all of the stops, and it has really inspired us to produce some of our most creative costume designs ever.
It has been brilliant to work on, and we hope that people love Ryan’s costume!”
