Don’t mind if we do…

It’s safe to say that Love Island took over a lot of our summer. While we couldn’t rely on the sun to stay around, we could definitely rely on Love Island to give us that drama we need in our lives.

From Adam being an absolute snake at the start to falling lovesick for Zara, and Alex’s downfall from being Doctor Right to Doctor So Wrong, it’s been an absolute whirlwind.

It has also been revealed what the contestants will make from the show, and it’s not too shabby at all – considering it’s just from Instagram alone.

It has been revealed that Dani is going to take home €7,750 from every sponsored Instagram post, which is not too bad at all.

So, if you’re planning on finding love – and making some cash – then this is what you need to do to apply for next year’s show.

While applications don’t open until December, you can head over to the the ITV website for all the info (keep in mind that there are reports the application process will open earlier this year due to such a high demand).

However, there are also reports that producers look around social media for applicants, as well as events and other social outings.

The requirements are as follows:

  • Must be aged at least 18 years of age on or before the closing date due to the nature of the Programme.
  • Must not currently/previously have been employed by ITV or be related to or live with someone who is employed by the broadcaster.
  • Must have a valid passport which will be valid for the whole summer up until August 2019 and any other travel documents such as visas.
  • Must be available for filming for at least 8 weeks.
