Former Home and Away actress Samara Weaving has got her first big break in Los Angeles.
Fans of the show will recognise Samara as Indi Walker, and she’s set to play the leading role in a Hollywood blockbuster, directed by McG.
Movie buffs are likely to recognise the director’s name for he was at the helm of films such as Charlie’s Angels and Terminator Salvation.
Samara will star in the film directed by McG
McG, aka Joseph McGinty Nichol also executive produced a number of TV shows including The OC and Supernatural.
Although the details of the film starring Samara have been kept under wraps, the working title is The Babysitter and it’s likely to be a thriller.
Samara took to social media to share the news and it’s clear she’s delighted with the new challenge.
