Here’s how Fiz will leave Coronation Street next week and we’re not ready

Jade Hayden

Don’t leave.

But also, yeah do, because you’re on maternity leave and you deserve a break.

Coronation Street‘s Jennie McAlpine will be heading away from the street for a bit next week to prepare for the fact that she’s going to give birth soon.

Fiz is going to have her own issues to deal with though before she leaves, as she tries to figure out what to do about her daughter, Hope.

Hope’s behaviour has been less than ideal over the past few weeks and despite all of the trouble she’s been causing, Fiz has pretty much been ignoring the entire scenario.

Things come to a head this week though as Hope decides she’s going to help Tyrone take Evelyn’s dog for a walk.

But as soon as Tyrone looks away for a second, Hope throws the dog onto a tram and lets it drive away – because of course she does.

Later on, when Fiz tries to apologise to Evelyn, Hope interjects and says that she’s “not even sorry.”

Harsh enough.

As her daughter’s behaviour only continues to worsen, Fiz decided that she needs to enrol Hope in a special school for troubled kids in Birmingham, and that she’ll move there with the schoolgirl until her behaviour improves.

And that’s pretty much it then – Fiz leaves, says goodbye to Tyrone, and heads off in an emotional exit that will most likely see her return in a few months acting like nothing’s ever happened.

Sure look. Until then.
