We’re pretty sure Hilary Duff just confirmed a Lizzie McGuire REBOOT, and we’re screaming

Did you spend a fair bit of your youth glued to the screen, enjoying Lizzie McGuire? Same. Well folks, we have some pretty glorious news for you all. It seems as though Hilary Duff, the star of Lizzie McGuire, has basically just confirmed a reboot. Our Disney-channel-loving hearts can barely take it.

"It’s in very new stages," the actress told Fox News.

"There’s been a lot of creative talk. I think the timing hasn’t been right. I'm excited at the prospect of it."

"Lizzie McGuire was important to so many people, including me. If she can be important again to girls in this stage of their lives, I think that would be amazing."

So do we hun, big time.

"There's been some conversations," she said.

"It's definitely not a go. I don't want to get everyone wild talking about it."

We can't help but wonder what Lizzie is up to now, as a full on adult. Well, according to Hilary, "there's been lots of conversations about that. I don't think she's a mom yet, but she might be getting there soon." We'll have to wait and see.
