This is what dreams are made of.

Hilary Duff has weighed in on the possibility of a Lizzie McGuire revival – admitting that there have been “some conversations” about bringing the iconic character back.

The beloved TV show ran from 2001 to 2004, spanning 65 episodes – as well as a movie.

And with what feels like just about every TV series from the early noughts  either being rebooted – or at least speculated to be set for a revival – it was only a matter of time until the discussion turned to Lizzie McGuire.

Duff told Entertainment Tonight that there has been “some conversations” about rebooting the beloved show.

Although, she quickly cautioned fans not to get too excited about the possibility.

Duff added:

“It’s definitely not a go. I don’t want to get everyone wild talking about it.

“It’s fun. I feel excited [about the idea]. It could be a possibility or it could be nothing, so we’ll see.”

The actress said that it would be “amazing” to be able to return to the role.

She continued:

“I mean I love her so much. I think she was so important to girls at an important time in their life. If she could be important to them again at this age, I think that would be amazing.”
