‘I won’t do that again’: Love Is Blind’s Jessica says she regrets giving her dog wine

Keeley Ryan

Love Is Blind’s Jessica has told how she regrets the moment she gave her dog wine.

In case you haven’t started watching Love Is Blind yet, lets do a quick run-down first.

Basically, it involves a group of singletons who – in an effort to be loved for who are they are, rather than what they look like – sign up for an unconventional approach to dating: meeting the person they want to spend the rest of their life with, without ever seeing them.

After getting engaged, they meet for the first time – and then head back into the real world, where they see if they can turn their emotional connection into a physical one, as they plan their wedding day.

The finale episode, which landed on Thursday, saw the couples head to the altar and say I do (or I don’t) to their other half –  you can find out the outcome here.

One of the most talked about moments in the series (besides the weddings) was when Jessica was seen giving her dog some wine.

In the series, she connects with 24-year-old Mark. After the pods, the pair discussed their future – and their age difference, which was a point of contention for Jessica – when she tilted her wedding glass down, allowing her golden retriever to drink from her glass.

“She loves wine,” Jessica said, creating a now-viral moment from the series.

In an interview that took place ahead of the series’ finale, Jessica said that that was the only time she had ever done that – and that she won’t do it again.

“I love my dog more than anything and that was not something I would ever recommend anyone to do. I think I was just really uncomfortable. I don’t even remember doing it. I don’t know why I did that but it was definitely unnecessary for sure,” she told Entertainment Weekly

Jessica and the rest of the Love is Blind cast recently got together to film a tell-all reunion special, which will be available on March 5. You can find out more information here.
