Love Island’s Teddy’s family respond to Faye’s apology

Ellen Fitzpatrick

They’re not holding back.

Hitting a fairly rough patch to put it lightly, it looked like the couple had ended things for good, well until Faye decided to own up to behaviour and apologise for the way she reacted.

While Teddy may have forgiven her for her harsh choice of words, his family still need Faye to win them over, saying they “don’t agree” with how she handled the situation.

A fan asked: “How are Teddy’s family feeling about the way Faye treated him?”

To which, his family responded: “We have to bear in mind, we’re not shown the entirety of every situation. Yes we don’t agree with how Faye reacted but if her apology was genuine then we see potential growth.

“We are happy Teddy conducted himself as a true gentleman would.”

In the same Q&A, another fan asked: “Is he a pushover? Forgave Faye well too easy.”

And Teddy’s family responded: “You can’t knock a man down for fighting for what he loves. Teddy was trying to understand what Faye’s reason was for being triggered.

“He felt he stayed true to himself at Casa Amor and he wanted Faye to understand that. Teddy is not here for drama, he’s here for love.”

And with a third fan asking would they accept her, the family wrote: “We haven’t seen everything. We’ve only seen 1 hour episodes that are tailored for entertainment.

“Teddy’s family would accept and support anyone that makes him happy.”

Love Island returns tonight at 9 pm on Virgin Media One.
