Taylor Swift's all over the charts, Beyoncé is about to drop another album but one female singer who has been noticeably quiet lately is Rihanna.
The star hasn't brought out a new album since 2012's Unapologetic and when asked when fans might expect a release, she told E! News "tell them they'll have to wait!".
However, she did reveal that work is underway on some new tunes, explaining "I'm in the studio right now with a killer team and I'm excited about what we're doing".
Someone else who is excited is frequent collaborator Ne-Yo, who said the singer's eighth album is sounding very good indeed.
"The stuff I've heard is absolutely incredible. I can't speak on what it sounds like because I'll get in trouble. But I definitely feel like people are gonna enjoy it. Anybody that's a Rihanna fan is gonna stay a Rihanna fan, and anybody that's not might become a Rihanna fan...just gear up for it."
