Two weeks ago we were waiting with bated breath to see who was going to be announced for what was rumoured to be a massive gig in Croke Park and nothing was revealed.
However, this morning it was officially announced that Ed Sheeran will be playing Friday, July 24th at the stadium this summer.
Tickets will reportedly go on sale next Thursday at 9am. Ticket prices start from €69.45.
"I always love coming back to Ireland," Ed said. "Irish audiences really are among the best in the world.
"I am so looking forward to stepping onto that stage in the magnificent stadium that is Croke Park on Friday, 24th July."
