Muse have announced that they'll play a surprise gig at Belfast's Ulster Hall to kick off their new UK tour this Sunday.
The prog rockers today confirmed that they will release new album Drones on June 5th and will perform a series of gigs in advance of the launch from March 15th to 23rd.
Tickets for the Belfast date go on sale at 9.30pm tomorrow, Thursday March 12th, with a fan club presale this evening from 6pm.
The first single from the album, which is co-produced by Muse and Robert John 'Mutt' Lange, is called Dead Inside, and will be released on March 23rd.
"To me, 'Drones' are metaphorical psychopaths which enable psychopathic behaviour with no recourse. The world is run by Drones utilizing Drones to turn us all into Drones. This album explores the journey of a human, from their abandonment and loss of hope, to their indoctrination by the system to be a human drone, to their eventual defection from their oppressors," said frontman Matt Bellamy.
The band will premiere the album track Psycho via their YouTube channel at 6pm on March 12th.
