JR Cash, better known as Johnny, was born on February 26th 1932. Today, the country music star would have celebrated his 83rd birthday. Cash made an unrivalled mark on music, despite struggling with alcohol and drug dependancy throughout most of his life. Perhaps most endearingly, the star claimed he would not have been alive without the help of his wife June Carter, to whom he penned the greatest love letter of all time.
