Just a slice of some of the brilliant musical talent coming out of Ireland today.     After hundreds of entries, a hotly-contested public vote and a live final before a packed house in Whelan's, we can now reveal that the winners of the 2016 Le Crunch Apple of My Eye Song Contest are... Brave Giant! The talented Longford lads walked away with €2,000 after ap-peeling to our judges with their brilliant cover of 'Is This Digital Love?' Here they are, absolutely loving life after the big announcement... Pipped to the post were Badger Hill, The Renegades, Caz Music and Zena, all of whom walked away with €125 for their troubles. Sandrine Gaborieau, Marketing Director of Le Crunch Apples from France, said: “We’d like to thank everyone from all over Ireland who entered this year. As usual, there was a very difficult choice to be made by the judges but we feel that Brave Giant just pipped the other finalists to the post.
