Netflix's Sweet Magnolias is the perfect series to bingewatch this weekend.
Based on the popular series of books, Sweet Magnolias follows lifelong best friends Maddie (Joanna Garcia Swisher), Helen (Heather Headley), and Dana Sue (Brooke Elliott) as they juggle relationships, family and careers in the charming small town of Serenity, SC.
The series also stars Chris Klein, Heather Headley, Justin Bruening and Jamie Lynn Spears.

The 10 episode first season of Sweet Magnolias landed on Netflix on May 19.
It is based on the popular series of novels published by MIRA Books, an imprint of Harlequin, by New York Times best-selling author Sherryl Woods, serves as an executive producer on the series.
Sheryl J. Anderson serves as the series' showrunner and executive producer with Daniel Paulson also serving as executive producer.
And while it may not have been on the streaming service long, it looks like Sweet Magnolias has already developed a devoted fanbase.
