Everything you need to know about the new season of Great British Bake Off
So Love Island is a distant memory at this stage - and we all need something to fill the void.
Well, the new season of Great British Bake Off is coming, and we couldn't be more excited.
If you're new to GBBO, you should know that it's basically a show where 12 amateur bakers compete against each other.
Typically, there are three baking challenges per episode, and they're always pretty juicy.
Hard to imagine that a show about baking can get heated, but trust me.
The trailer for the new season is out already, so we expect the show to start pretty soon.
In fact, every season before this has always started in August, so we'll hedge our bets.
Sandi Toksvig and Noel Fielding will host, and Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will be judging the competiton.
And it looks like this season will be a little different, according to Paul Hollywood.
He told The Guardian:"This year we have gone back to basics on a couple, because we were getting a bit over-complicated."
"Sometimes it's not just about the bakers in the tent, it's about the people in the UK who watch the programme. We want to encourage the viewers to bake. And it's worked, thus far. Everyone's got the baking bug, at some level."
I don't really have the baking bug, but I sure do love cake!
Oh, we can't wait for this to start.
