Virgin River Season 3 is coming in July

If you are missing the tension/romance/drama between Mel and Jack (aren’t we all?!) – we’ve got some good news.

Netflix has confirmed that Season 3 will hit the streaming service in July – meaning we are a mere WEEKS away from finding out what the heck happens after Mel finds Jack bleeding out on the floor of his bar after being shot. Remember that cliffhanger?

However, the actors have themselves confirmed the date when the new season will air – and we simply cannot wait!

July 9th is apparently the drop date – and here is everything we know so far about Season 3:

As far as the plot goes, not much is known yet, but we imagine they need to let us know what happens to poor Jack straight away.

Also, Netflix did offer a teaser that said the ten-episode season will involve “a funeral, a fire, a divorce, a hurricane and a new romance in a twist-packed season that’ll keep fans on the edge of their seats.”

Sounds amazing? We know!

If you really want to dig deeper and see what could possibly be taking place in the new season, you might want to check out the Virgin River books by Robyn Carr that actually inspired the series. However, be warned that – as is often the case – the Netflix show so far has tended to stray away from the books a good bit.

Most of the show’s stars are reprising their roles, including Alexandra Breckenridge (Mel), Colin Lawrence (John “Preacher”), Annette O’Toole (Hope) and Tim Matheson (Vernon).

There will also be some new faces in the third instalment of the show, including Zibby Allen as Jack’s sister, Brie, and Stacey Farber as Lilly’s daughter, Tara.

Netflix have yet to drop an official trailer, but honestly, we just know it is going to be worth the wait!
