The Grammy nominations are here… and Olivia Rodrigo is taking over

Ellen Fitzpatrick

No shocker there.

The Grammy Award nominations have just dropped and as it was predicted, Olivia Rodrigo has taken over.

With a year like no other for her career, Olivia has been all we’ve listened to, and apparently, she’s the top of the Grammy judges’ Spotify too.

The 2022 awards are set to take place in the Crypto.com Arena (formerly STAPLES Center) in Los Angeles on January 31st, with the nominees being announced via live stream on Tuesday.

While Olivia is the nominee that has been getting the most attention since the nominations dropped, she hasn’t bagged the most on this year’s list. Jon Batiste is leading with 11 nominations, while Justin Bieber, Doja Car and H.E.R all have eight.

Following them is Billie Eilish with seven, the same amount Olivia has bagged.
