The former 'X Factor' star was gutted when he was told he was being axed from 'The Voice', but another singing competition is calling his name.
According to reports, Olly Murs could be a new judge on 'The Masked Singer'.
The singer would be the perfect fit for the show and the current team are in support of the move.
Speaking about Olly being axed from The Voice, Davina McCall said she was shocked to hear the news because "he's a brilliant panelist".
She told The Mirror: "I’ve known Olly his entire career so it feels like he’s part of my work DNA. And he’s a brilliant panellist."
As disappointing as 'The Voice' news was, Davina said Olly has been "absolutely chipper" lately.
"He knows so much about music, he’s great at picking out voices and he’s lovely," she added.
The TV presenter said she was surprised Olly was axed from The Voice because he's such a talented musician, as well as a TV personality.
He may no longer be part of 'The Voice' family, but Davina feels he would be an incredible addition to 'The Masked Singer'.
She said "it's very difficult to get those two things right" but Olly has the whole package.
"I was surprised about [The Voice decision] because I often look at Olly and think he’s as good a TV presenter as he is a singer.
Olly's next career move remains under wraps, but the singer is set to experience quite a special milestone this year.
Last year, Olly and his wife Amelia revealed they were expecting their first child together.
The singer confirmed the news in an emotional post on Instagram and said he couldn't wait for this new chapter.
Olly confirmed the news by sharing a photo of him and Amelia, taken at their home in Essex.
In the sweet snap, Amelia is showing off her baby bump and Olly smiles proudly at her.
He's also holding up her sonogram in the adorable announcement post.
