Get ready for Rise up New York! where three of our favourite divas will be taking to the (home) stage

Not to mention, it's hosted by the wonderful Tina Fey.

After staying up through the night to watch One World: Together At Home, we've been waiting (not so) patiently for the next virtual concert to hit our screens.

In the current climate, we've seriously been appreciating all the snippets of positivity that have been helping to keep our spirits up, and One World certainly did a lot in that respect.

Aside from the enjoyment of watching a concert, there was also a sense of camaraderie about the whole thing. Seeing so many big-time celebs singing to us from their living rooms really did send the message that we're all in this together.

So we're expecting all those same positive vibes from Rise Up New York!, which will be live-streamed this Monday, May 11. It is hosted by Tina Fey (expect great things) who will be joined by three of the most famous divas of the music industry: Jennifer Lopez, Mariah Carey, and Barbra Streisand. Oh yes, these ladies will be belting out some fantastic home performances during the one hour event and we can hardly wait.

It's not just those four stars though, oh no. There are plenty of other talented names to get excited about too, such as Sting, Robert De Niro, Chris Rock, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Idina Menzel, and Jimmy Fallon. It's definitely going to be a good night.

New York is the epicentre of the Covid-19 pandemic and the virtual concert aims to support New Yorkers who have been impacted by the pandemic. The event was organised by iHeartMedia and Robin Hood, NYC's largest poverty-fighting organisation.

There has never been a more important time to come together and show support for each other than now and, really, what better way is there for us to do that than through song? We get some great tunes by our favourite performers while also helping to support a great cause - it's a win-win in our eyes.
