Just when you thought that the Toy Show was over for another year The Republic of Telly bring out a hilarious skit about the battle between TV3 and RTÉ’s toy shows.
Lined out like a boxing match, the sketch sees them likening The Script’s Danny O’Donoghue to Neo from TheMatrix along with various other scathing references to the celebrities that featured on each show.
With some of the best (or worse!) clips from both shows added in, the only thing they were missing was the now famous Ed Sheeran moment, but really, we all know there’s nothing bad they can say about that - it's TV gold.
As they go through each round with Ryan Tubridy and Brian McFadden going head-to-head for the win, it looks like TV3 might have just edged the title of best toy show, but will RTÉ pip them in the final round?
