According to reports, CW network plan to develop the new programme, and will add more meat to the storyline by following the lives of Noah and Allie after their reunion. “The Notebook is a very, very well-received book and motion picture,” said CW president Mark Pedowitz. “It is going to be set after World War 2,” he continued. “At this point, the pilot’s not done – I do not believe we are going to see the older couple. “Things change, we are now at the beginning of the development stage."
