This comes just weeks after Molly Mae announced their split on social media - and on the back of this, he’s been coined as the top choice for the 2024 show.

The Sun spoke to an insider, who said: “Tommy is a great name as a potential campmate as he’s already known to the ITV audience and he’d be brilliant in the Bushtucker Trials.

“Bosses are talking with lots of celebrities ahead of the new series and are determined to make this year’s line-up one of the best.”

An ITV source added: “They also know that the superfit boxer is likely to be a prime candidate for the annual hunk-in-the-jungle shower scenes.”

The Sun also reports that bosses are potentially hoping he will use his time in the jungle to talk about his ex-fiancé, Molly Mae, and the details of their split.

The former couple met on season five of Love Island. After leaving the villa, they moved in together and later welcomed a child - in January last year.

They announced their split after five years of romance and since then, many have been speculating about what happened.
