Netflix has finally released the trailer for season 5 of Virgin River, just one month before its release.
Part one of the show’s fifth season airs on September 7th and fans can expect a string of dramatic episodes.
Not only are Mel and Jack preparing to become parents, but they’re also faced with losing their home as Virgin River goes up in flames.
The trailer sees the beloved town tackle wildfires in the emotional new trailer.
Jack and Mel see smoke billowing in the distance and Jack realises it’s their hometown, “That’s Virgin River,” he says as they watch the sky fill with smoke.
The residents of the northern Californian town refuse to let the wildfires defeat them with fan-favourite Hope saying, “We will rise from the ashes. That’s the power of Virgin River.”
The trailer also teases new romances for Preacher and Lizzie too.
Netflix confirmed this season is set to be full of twists and turns.
“Mel adjusts to a different pace of life, Jack works to grow his business, and the town faces new threats as secrets begin to surface in Virgin River.”
