As a parent it is always a smart idea to have good communication with your kids especially when if comes to their lives at school and their relationships with other children. Schoolyard bullying is very common and according to a nationwide study on the matter conducted in Trinity College Dublin, up to 31% of primary school students and 16% of secondary school students are bullied at some point during their time at school. This is a worrying statistic and if you suspect that your child is being bullied it is best to intervene in the situation.
