Grandparents can be fantastic role models. When we’re younger, we look up to them and we do everything we can to make them proud of us.
In fact, one Reddit user was so inspired by his grandfather that he decided to take a series of pictures to show just how much he’s followed in the man’s footsteps.

Reddit user Reginald_Charming and his grandad pretty much lived parallel lives, 60 years apart. Both of them graduated from Saint John’s university. Both of them were members of the University’s men’s chorus and both of them clearly loved plaid shirts.

“I actually made these [pictures] since he can’t make it to my graduation,” said Reginald_Charming when he posted the snaps.
“He is bedridden due to health issues and I thought he would really enjoy them,” he added.
