This week the New Zealand Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages shared a list of baby names they have banned over the last decade.
New parents have to run their names by the government to make sure they conform with the country's rules.
And while we're all for people having freedom we have to admit that we're quite glad that there are no Lucifers walking around.
Similarly 'Christ' and 'Messiah' were not allowed. Neither were any names that suggested the child has a rank or title such as 'Princess', 'Duke' or 'King'.

Princess was one of the banned names.
'Justice' was one of the most rejected names (62 times) with alternative spellings also being turned down.
The slightly stranger names included 'Anal' (who on earth would even consider calling their child this?), 'Mafia No Fear' and a single full stop as in '.' (because you know actual names are so overrated).
But at least those parents had a bit of imagination. The names '2nd', '3rd' and '4th' were also on the list.
According to reports the New Zealand government not only rejects names that are strange or offensive but also ones that are deemed too long.
It's no wonder not many celebrities reside there!
