This weekend, Conor McGregor made history by becoming the first UFC dual weight champion after he defeated Eddie Alvarez for the lightweight belt.
That wasn’t the only exciting news though as he also revealed at the post-fight press conference that he was going to be a dad.
”well I’ve a few announcements, one announcement is I’m going to be a daddy early next year,” said McGregor proudly.
He added that the baby is due in May and he’s quite nervous about the whole ordeal.
“Look I am running from it, I am crapping my jocks with the whole thing, I don’t know what to be doing with myself.”
He also announced that when baby arrives, he will be taking some time off to spend with his young family.
“So that’s kind of a little thing in the back of my head, so I’m going to just have this baby, take a little bit of time and see what way I feel after that and then that’s it, they’ve got to come talk to me now.”
Now girlfriend Dee has shared the first image of the couple since the announcement. The mum-to-be is wearing a red jumpsuit and displays the early signs of pregnancy. Conor wears one of his usual dapper suits.
