Don’t Let Go: Incredible Picture Of Twins Holding Hands Minutes After Birth

Have you ever seen anything so adorable? This picture of twins holding hands has become a viral sensation after it was uploaded to a photo-sharing website.

The picture, which was taken at a hospital in northern Spain, shows a set of twins holding hands shortly after they were born.

Danel and Maria were delivered by Caesarean section at a hospital in Gipuzkoa and hospital staff were absolutely amazed when they placed the babies in an incubator together and saw them clasping hands.

Spanish news wire service EFE reports that doctors and nurses alike were stunned when they saw the children holding each other – mainly because this type of behaviour is not typical from twins that have just been born.

“They each looked different ways and yet they naturally joined hands,” said Dr. Javier Rodriguez.

Dr. Rodriguez said that this was the first time he had ever seen anything like it and stated that the embrace between the little brother and sister was truly “instinctive.” As the twins held hands, a nurse captured the amazing moment on camera.

The twins are now four months old and their parents, Naiara and Mario Morales, have said that they still can’t believe how much the picture has been shared online.

We think it’s a beautiful, tender moment and it just goes to show that even when we’re tiny, we still seek comfort in the form of touch. Amazing.
